2013, a whole new approach.

COLOUR

It’s 2013 and i am really keen to get going and expand  the Elsie Florence brand. The trend styling side of Elsie Flo is one of my favourites that i am going to be doing alot more of this year. BC and before moving from london to live in Somerset I worked for 10 years as a trend stylist. I loved my job. I especially loved the start of a new season and working on the colour predictions for the International Colour Council.

The most exciting thing is the gut feeling you have about a trend. You can’t explain why but you absolutely know its got to be. And I have this feeling right now. Its a butterflies type of thing. So for 2013 it’s COLOUR. Beautiful strong tones of pink, aqua, golds and more muted, faded tones of the same colour. Glorious, rich and seductive.

Faded grandeur. A clever use of colour. Muted brights with definate strong highlights.

The colour of this boudoir reflect  the elegance of faded grandeur, the look of times past but are so current as a background for more modern over tones.

Hints of parma violet, stone and concrete tones brought together by worn guilded golden tones.

Elegant, sophisticated and delicious.

Food plays apart in the world of trends too. Look at these gorgeous colours. So clever and mouth watering. That is an art in itself.

Finally I love WHITE. Probably the most important colour in the palette as it works with evry colour and is essential for adding light. If you can’t choose a colour or you don’t feel brave enough this angel will always come to your rescue.

White, harmonious white
